Where to stay in Santiago

Santiago features numerous distinct neighborhoods filled with affordable sleeping options. For easiest access to the city's top museums and eateries, consider the hotels located in the pleasant downtown area, where you can also find many furnished apartments ideal for longer stays. For close proximity to the city's best nightlife options, consider Bellavista or Barrios Lastarria, or head to charming Providencia if you prefer something a bit more sophisticated and less raucous.

  • It is a true market, roofing, of Antiquities, located to about 10 - 20 minutes by car from the Center to the Mapocho River. It has a great offer, above all of furniture, real antiques and others on request. You have to go with time and insurance will find something of your liking. The prices are not cheap, but it can be negotiated. There is parking, small and expensive, to one side. It is generally safe, but I suggest you go on a weekend, you will find many people walking.

  • Commonly known as "parque de los reyes" is a great antiques fair specialized in furniture, a nice visit
  • Unfortunately this type of business is disappearing, less range and few options of payment. To continue striving to better care and comforts, which differentiate this space of counts with the nostalgia.
