  • Who likes football can only go to the Stadium on their travels. This is who I am. I'm going to the stadium in any place I visit. In Chile chose the Monumental of the Colo Colo. Easy to buy a ticket (cheap and no line), easy to reach (subway Builders or Mirador of the green line), next to a mall (for your wife to shop without complaint for you to go to the game). The access is very quiet and the output. The only strange thing was the Mall close the gates that led to the stadium. Nothing would prevent fans of open grids force (but without violence) and enter quietly in sight of prawns that were just looking.

  • The monumental promenade is beautiful, know every corner of the Estadio Monumental, House sports and social club Colo Colo, the more big Chilean soccer. The guide tells the story of the club through the entire route, also explains each location of the stadium. You can access the tunnel's exit to the Court and to the press room. Sit on the bench of booking them on edge of the field. The other part of the ride is to enter the Museum, small but just right to show the history of this great club. I recommend this place when you are in Santiago de Chile.

  • Visit very organized. Recommend not delay, because the Ordinance is closed. Interesting perform tour (4000 Chilean pesos per person, something like R $20.00). The Guide leads us to know the entire Stadium and tells the stories from the Foundation of the Club, in 20 years. The location is easy to access, 10 minutes walking from the subway Pedrero (green line). At the end of the visit there is a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs.

  • Attended a Cola-Cola off season game. If you're attending a regular season game, I would recommend not wearing a purse and making sure to keep your belongings close as the stadium can get pretty rowdy. There is no alcohol served in the stadium, only non-alcoholic beers. Great, local experience, but make sure you take precautions. I would recommend not driving if possible as well.
  • Amazing place, full of history. Recommended. The best club in Chile.

  • Take the guided tour and learn the amazing history of the City team, Colo-Colo with a wealth of details and access to the lawn of the stadium, making the same way players. On game days, choose sectors of Oceán or Range-and don't forget to buy the tickets the day before departure, as are individual and identified.

Where to stay in Santiago

Santiago features numerous distinct neighborhoods filled with affordable sleeping options. For easiest access to the city's top museums and eateries, consider the hotels located in the pleasant downtown area, where you can also find many furnished apartments ideal for longer stays. For close proximity to the city's best nightlife options, consider Bellavista or Barrios Lastarria, or head to charming Providencia if you prefer something a bit more sophisticated and less raucous.
