Admire the architecture and the works of art at Centro Cultural Palacio de la Moneda y Plaza de la Ciudadania. Both the plaza and the gallery underneath it were constructed as part of a nationwide program celebrating the 200th anniversary of Chilean independence. The former parking lot of the presidential palace was transformed into a wide plaza, and the multi-storey gallery was built to host some of the most important art exhibitions in Chile, as well as the National Film Archive and the Digital Library. The gallery showcases both classical and contemporary art from all over the world, with a full schedule of exhibits available online. • We were in a free exhibition on the work of American pop artist Andy Warhol. Excellent space, with all the security of the La Moneda Palace and interactive attractions for children.

  • Indispensable in visits to santiago. I visited the night lighting and the sources are a different point of the façade of the building.

  • With well-stocked and very good infrastructure. It's must-see. In space beyond the art of Chile, can take good cafes.

  • Nice itinerary exhibitions. It's really a nice place... until you gotta pee. The bathrooms could use some work, there are really-really small
  • Loved Warhol exhibition, everything is neat, small shops for souvenirs and i was not so overwhelmed with prices, as you would expect. Recommended
  • I love the atmosphere and all that I'm learning. It's beautiful and interactive and a must do trip
  • Very nice. Well kept. Nice expositions. There are free hours so if your budget is low is a good option to go before 1:00pm. Access buy bus, subway, or car. Place in the historic part of Santiago you can go to more places around to eat or get some cultural experience
  • Excellent museum, it doesn't have a permanent exhibit, it vary from time to time, you can discover new things. Good cafeteria.
