Centro Cultural Estacion Mapocho represents an old railway station that has been repurposed as a cultural venue. Built in 1913, the structure was one of several buildings that were erected to celebrate Chile’s first centenary. Once an important hub of rail travel in the country, the imposing building was declared a National Monument in 1976 and restored as a cultural center in 1994. • The architecture of the place is something that is worth visiting and appreciate, despite the huge amount of years you have this beautiful place is kept in excellent condition.

  • When I visited the main exhibition was still being assembled, so I could enjoy more was the structure of the site, worth a stop by, it makes us feel all those old movies with train stations, but for me it would be a little visit short given the day I visited.

  • I liked the architecture. It is worth much if you go with a tour guide because they have throughout history. And well, Santiago is strong in tourist guides free. I love that.
