Centro Cultural Estacion Mapocho represents an old railway station that has been repurposed as a cultural venue. Built in 1913, the structure was one of several buildings that were erected to celebrate Chile’s first centenary. Once an important hub of rail travel in the country, the imposing building was declared a National Monument in 1976 and restored as a cultural center in 1994. Visit the station to observe its ornate facade, or explore the interior which often holds cultural events, such as art exhibitions, music performances, and the annual Santiago Book Fair. • Located in the centre of San Diego, the cultural center is originally a train station, is a very good car station construction, and inside the Huang is very good too.

  • Inside are various cultural activities scheduled throughout the year. But if you come on a trip of a few days, simply stop in its facade and taking some good pictures. Front lot peddler, primarily with food, if you are hungry.

  • Today visit the FILSA, book fair, which is held every year. It is must to see books alone or with family or couple. It is more than see low prices is to have a diverse range of reading in one place. Last year I went with grandchildren and we had happy, this year I just went and it was a moment of personal pleasure. Is open until Sunday 12 November.

  • Acceptable acoustic and lot of room for massive events. On the side some really nice art galleries.
  • An ok place to visit. If you have plenty of time in the city
  • Architecture! Art inside as well. We just walked here from Museo Bella Artes, and the exhibits were better here. Both worth seeing for the bldgs alone.
  • Came here to pick up stuff for the marathon. It's a big space, but didn't really look around.
  • Feria internacional de libros was wonderful and really enjoyed the Mexican authors who spoke
