Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia, Santiago
(4/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Wander through Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia, a city street market specializing in handcrafted local items and souvenirs. This central market opens all day and sits just opposite Cerro Santa Lucia Park. The stalls radiate with bold bright colours and items hang chaotically on display. Shade cloths and an abundance of tall plants on the walkways provide for a pleasant shopping environment. Typical items include leather goods, woollen clothing, jewellery, shoes, and items made of copper. Don't expect to barter too much as the prices are fixed. Some stalls accept different currencies. A visit to Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Santiago itinerary planner to plot your vacation.

  • The craft fair is pretty easy to find and have plenty of room and many stallholders. Do not buy from the guy to find, search for a little longer because the stallholders have enough thing repeated.

  • Typical local crafts market. Inside you can buy merchandise by fine workmanship and at prices that can be bargained with sellers. To visit it carefully it takes all afternoon, because the amount of material you see is really great. It goes from copper paintings to sculptures in marble. From quartz jewelry to cotton clothes. Of everything. If you switch from Santiago, deserves to be visited.

  • The best choice for economic souvenirs in Santiago, steps away from the Metro Santa Lucía, prices significantly lower than other craft centers. Recommended for tourists, ideal to complement a visit to the Cerro Santa Lucia which is on the front.

  • Good place to buy souvenirs and deco stuff. In one of the stores you can find handcrafted masks of wood with symbols of Pascoa Island.
  • All the Chilean hand craft you can imagine. Inside there is a fantastic natural juice place with a huge amount of different fruits. It's a must if you like fruit juices and you are close the area
  • An awesome place to walk around. Walk up and get a great view of the city.
  • Worth visiting this place if you are in a hurry to collect souvenirs from Chile.
  • It's a good place to buy gifts and souvenirs.
