Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia, Santiago

Flea Market
Wander through Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia, a city street market specializing in handcrafted local items and souvenirs. This central market opens all day and sits just opposite Cerro Santa Lucia Park. The stalls radiate with bold bright colours and items hang chaotically on display. Shade cloths and an abundance of tall plants on the walkways provide for a pleasant shopping environment. Typical items include leather goods, woollen clothing, jewellery, shoes, and items made of copper. Don't expect to barter too much as the prices are fixed. Some stalls accept different currencies. A visit to Centro Artesanal Santa Lucia represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Santiago itinerary planner to plot your vacation.

  • Worth much by this fair to take some remember Santiago, because prices are lower compared to most of the other points of sale. Is close to Santa Lucia station and practically in front of cerro Santa Lucia. If you have time, chat with some merchants, because they are very attentive and generally have information about the city that not even the tour guides speak!

  • This market is easily accessible by train station santa Lucia metro or on foot after visiting the Hill. It has everything from cannabis products and lapis lazuli to stuff in leather and weaving. Few things are really cheap, most tourist price, but worth spending.
