  • It is located in the commune of Quinta Normal, and can be reached by Metro. The impressive Basilica of Quinta Normal School was closed, by which visited the grotto of Lourdes located just opposite, on the other side of the pedestrian walkway Lourdes. This cave is a replica of the real that is in France and was built at the beginning of the last century. It is a place of prayer in the open air, with a marble altar where masses are celebrated and daily visitors to hundreds of people. To the right of the entrance is the Christ of the centenary, a large Christ on the cross sculpture. Highlights of the grotto, an image of the Immaculate Conception by Concepción at the top and one of Santa Bernardita below on the left. Inside the enclosure and on both sides of the cave, there are small hermitages with paintings that show the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Santa Bernardita. In short, a beautiful sanctuary that is worth visiting.

  • Basilica with a stunning architecture. It is advisable to visit day to better enjoy the colors of the stained glass windows inside. Although it has a metro station, the best thing to do is to visit her walking from Parque Quinta Normal (the sector is where the basilica is not pretty). In front of the Basilica is the grotto of Lourdes.

  • Visit a day Sunday. The Basilica is very cute and worth visiting it. The same as the Grotto that is right at the front and the ride improves more if Quinta Normal runs.

  • I love this place, because it is very good to see the statue of the Virgin of Lourdes in 17 appearances, as well as a picture with details and appearance, fact, Word, besides who said it.
