Barrio Paris Londres, Santiago
(3.8/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Explore the quaint and atmospheric neighborhood of Barrio Paris Londres, famed for its distinctly European style and character. Developed in 1923 by a group of architects, these buildings and public spaces pay homage to the Latin Quarter in Paris, with louvered windows and cobblestoned streets. You'll find plenty of shops, cafes, and bars along the two main streets, all giving more than just a nod to fashion, style, and culture across the Atlantic. There's also a former jail here, used during the Pinochet era. Tiles on the building's exterior reveal the names of the political prisoners once held there. Work out when and for how long to visit Barrio Paris Londres and other Santiago attractions using our handy Santiago trip itinerary maker.

  • is amazing that to a block of an of them avenues more busy of Santiago Center is find this small and cozy place, with lights warm by the night and their streets of pavers make of this neighborhood something so magical! There are very good hostels at affordable prices and 2 stations of metro in less than 5 blocks.

  • A neighborhood that is located in the heart of Santiago. With different places to dine or have lunch with variety for all tastes and prices. Walk its streets transports you to another times and peace of mind. Beautiful for taking photographs. And have a happy hours with friends or after work. Also on the streets find hostels, residential and place in memorial or reminder to the suffered by missing detainees. It is worth exploring their small streets

  • A micro-region preserved and with architectural corridor between classic and Moor. Very beautiful and still has a part with paving stones with names of the victims of the dictatorship.
