Barrio Bellavista, Santiago
(4.5/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
Green and purple, orange and blue--the famous facades of Barrio Bellavista look more like gingerbread houses than real homes. But it's the people and culture, not the architecture, that really make Santiago's bohemian quarter a vibrant place. Known as much for its cafe culture as its energetic nightlife, the neighborhood pulses around the clock, as the city's coolest crowd congregates and unwinds. Take a stroll through the leafy streets, admire the quirky houses, then find the perfect bar and get the party started. Using our online itinerary creator, Santiago attractions like Barrio Bellavista can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Rumba? In the barrio bella vista! Dozens of bars in a single Street. If you want a good reel, this is the place. Eye with the typical thieves, be careful with your belongings. Otherwise all OK.
