  • This is a program that you shouldn’t miss if you enjoy wine and want to learn more about it. You start with a tour in the vineyard in a chariot with a local guide who explains to you all the story of ...  more »
  • We enjoyed the casual wine tasting experience at Laura Hartwig. I liked the limited specialities of wine that it offers; all done to perfection.  more »

  • Loved all their wines. They have a 12,000 peso basic tasting and a 16,000 peso premium tasting. We only sampled their basic tasting, but really enjoyed every one. The tastings included a tour of their facility as well as a non-pretentious carriage ride around their vineyards. They have a lovely wrap-around veranda patio where I wish we could have spent more time hanging out if it weren't for another tour we had scheduled. A visit to this small-scale operation is a good compliment to some of other the large-scale wineries in the area.
  • One of the smaller but still very nice wineries of Colchagua. Super friendly staff who gave us a free quick tour because we rented bicycles there. Also let us camp for the night, which was very convenient. They also have very nice wines!
  • A lot of things to do here. We rented some brand new bikes, which were very neat for a tour through the area! The people that work here are lovely and helped us a lot.
  • Nice enviroment
  • Great place.

Where to stay in Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz has become known for providing a glimpse into the country's agricultural heritage, though not at the expense of development. As such, you'll find a good mix of accommodations around the main town and its rural outskirts. Refined hotels and boutique guesthouses dominate the main urban area, along with simpler fare for more budget-conscious travelers located on side streets. Heading out of town, a good number of converted farm buildings and ranches offer characterful lodgings amidst the region's attractive scenery.
