4.2/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web
Sample a classic regional wine at Lapostolle Clos Apalta Winery, a highly regarded estate with an array of attractive vineyards. The modernist architecture of the main building adds a cool, contemporary feel to the experience, while the rolling vineyards, neatly ordered on the hilly landscape, offer plentiful vistas and photo opportunities. Hand-harvested at night, the grapes are de-stemmed before fermenting in 21 small vats, where they remain for two years before bottling. Talk to the knowledgeable staff about winemaking heritage in the area and the history of the winery, and taste the wine before picking up a bottle or two to take away with you. • Beautiful location, spectacular architecture, wonderful wines. Everything impresses in this place. The building, the view, the gardens, the bodega itself, the aging room, where wine tasting is done and above all, the private wine cellar of the owners. Sensational!

  • With my wife we visited some wineries, but the architectural proposal for this place is impressive. The vineyard and the entire concept that encompasses the visit is unique. We have not seen anything like this before, I recommend it. Rodrigo.
