Colchagua Museum boasts exhibits for every age and taste, from cowboy gear and weapons, to religious artifacts and pre-Columbian pottery. Founded by controversial tycoon Carlos Cardoen, Chile's largest private museum also contains the capsule used to rescue 33 trapped miners in 2010. Other highlights include a collection of utensils and machines used in farming and the production of wine, and a room dedicated to Charles Darwin's Chilean period, hugely influential on his later thinking. Aurelio PradenasYesterday, visit this Museum, invited by my friend Andrew. It is truly a national monument, completicimo and needed several hours to make his journey. Recommended 100 percent for all kinds of people wanting to learn about cultures, both Chilean as Latin American. It only remains for me to say... a marvel.show original
