  • Despite being a natural wonder, this hot water river, is unfortunately awash with tourists at any time ready. Equal worth

  • Found me fantastic. Very rich relaxation with everything disconnected and connected with nature do not forget to carry lock to keep your things why there are lockers but no padlock.

  • The first pool is exquisite tranquola and the hottest of all, although the temperature does not become annoying, is ideal. The fifth has a waterfall to use whirlpool. Go on tour makes time short to enjoy the place because then you have to go walking about 10 minutes climbing, nothing excessive or very tiring

  • Outdoor Thermal baths which are part of a river. Each of the 8 pools are surrounded by reeds and ferns which line the rocky bathing pools. Some have waterfalls flowing into them. Temperatures range about 32oc at the hottest to a 25oc at the bottom. Some basic changing rooms with lockers available and each pool accessed by wooden walkways.
  • It's a great place to relax. There are some tables where you can have a picnic. The water is not that warm though.
  • They told I would have hot water, but... It is not hot neither cold. The price is not cheap, but the landscape is wonderful, I guess it worths
  • Warm springs in more than 3500m altitude. Water around 39-33° Celsius. Super relaxed. entrance fee about 9$
  • Relaxing half day tour from San Pedro. Was a good idea to unwind from hiking. Thermal waters hover around 35 degrees C. Good way to meet some traveller pals to share a drink once back in town.

Where to stay in San Pedro de Atacama

As the stepping-stone to the nearby national reserve, San Pedro de Atacama offers an impressive range of hotels and guesthouses. Despite the big selection, prices remain relatively high throughout the year due to the town's status as northern Chile's tourist hub. At the peak of the summer season (late December to late March), some budget-friendly hostels even require single travelers to share a room with another guest. If you wish to avoid that, look into one of the hotels, many of which cluster around the town's central area and line the main street.
