  • The Puritama hot springs tour is undoubtedly a relax after hiking in the wilderness. A set of waterfalls with super nice temperature around 24 c, which form natural pools 8. We were around 13 hours, the place was empty and we were able to enjoy exclusive access to several of these pools. Wonderful tour

  • This is a thermal site about 30/40 minutes drive from San Pedro de Atacama, accessible by car (the road is not the best preferably with a full car, for low ones proceed very carefully in the last 500 meters), admission is 15000 Chilean pesos per person and is open until 17.30. After parking there is still a path of 500mt in slope x reach the entrance. Find changing rooms, washrooms and a picnic area if you have brought a snack around. The tanks are 8, start at 33° to 25°, all natural, set among the rocks, water and spectacular scenery.

  • I went with my family and was one of the tours that we leave to the end ... because we were sure we'd want to do. Unfortunately our trip to bolivia was delayed 1 day because the roads were closed. We took that day, and we did it. ... My god I'd never forgive myself if I had lost ... it was amazing and relacante. The last swimming pools are the best ... we stayed at 7 almost all the time. Very good, don't underestimate and not let go.

  • If you are in the San Pedro area I would put this high on your list of things to do. A little pricey (around $25 per person when I went in 2017) but well worth it in my opinion. One of the most natural feeling hot springs I've ever been to.
  • Worth seeing if you are in San Pedro - although be aware of: 1) The water is not actually that warm in comparison to other hot springs (in my experience from Japan and Budapest) 2) The top pool is off limits to guests on a day trip and is reserved for what I think is a hotel 3) Make sure you wear sun cream! 4) There is an additional entrance fee (around £15-20 per person) on top of what the San Pedro travel agencies charge (unless they state it is included)
  • THIS IS NOT HOT WATER 💦 Lukewarm at best (at least in August). And the warmest two pools will be booked (and guarded by walkie-talkie armed men) for some upgrade hotel! So you will pay a ridiculous amount for transportation, even more for entrance to swim around in knee deep NOT HOT WATER. Was NOT worth the money! Sure it was beautiful (2nd ⭐️), but it SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE SOLD AS 'HOT SPRINGS'! Very disappointed.
  • Amazing place, to take a rest from the other tours.
  • Outdoor Thermal baths which are part of a river. Each of the 8 pools are surrounded by reeds and ferns which line the rocky bathing pools. Some have waterfalls flowing into them. Temperatures range about 32oc at the hottest to a 25oc at the bottom. Some basic changing rooms with lockers available and each pool accessed by wooden walkways.
