Die Ruhe, die Flamingos.......auch das ist ein sehr besonderer Ort. Für mich gibt es keinen Zweifel, dass man unbedingt dort gewesen sein sollte !The rest, the Flamingos...auch that is a very special place. For me, there is no doubt that it there should have been absolutely!show original

Tip that I couldn't find in any tourist site: any tour of the Atacama desert, with the exception of Salar de Tara, can be done by account. Namely, I rent a car at the airport in Calama and do the tours on your own. Benefits: will leave much more into account (even having to leave the car one day stopped due to ride the Salar de Tara); you won't be at the mercy of the agencies (all tours came out late and it is quite common in all agencies – they tell you to wake up early and leave you planted waiting. You don't get stuck with an itinerary of group-that way you can take advantage of more sites like and less those who dislike); You can optimize the length of stay with the existing tourist sites; You can stay outside the village center of San Pedro and get better hosting with prices more into account; and, the main airport will not suffocate with transportation (the day we came back, we arrived at 9:30 to the airport for a flight out at 9:55 – this transfer provided by Transvip). Detail: you don't have to spend with GPS (download, on Google Maps, the area of the desert of Atacama offline and just plug the GPS function on the phone that works even in airplane mode).show original
