Quebrada de Jerez, San Pedro de Atacama

(3.5/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Step into the calm of Quebrada de Jerez, a picturesque oasis of lush vegetation nestled within a deep furrow in the delta plain. Cool down from the trek here with a wade in the refreshing stream, and pluck a snack from the bountiful quince and fig trees in the area. (Pears and plums also grow here, but rules strictly forbid eating these.) Those looking for the area's famed petroglyphs should be prepared for an extended and challenging hike, so take plenty of water. • In half so arid... Jeres Valley green. Green cool the shore in the river that runs through the desert.

  • This quedabra offers a nice scenery, and some petroglyphs. However, do not make the road just to go see this.
  • It is a Gorge formed by the River, which the ancients took the opportunity to plant on its shores all kinds of fruits
