  • A short walk from the center of town, this tiny space would be of interest to meteorites enthusiasts, but for the rest of us, all these explanations are a bit hard to understand. Some of the exhibits ...  more »
  • If you're looking for something to do consider the meteor museum. A lot of good specimens, combined with videos and headsets providing narration in several languages.  more »
  • Audiovisual Museum structured well with staff and with the explanation of the final. Not to be missed.

  • Four stars only because it is a small museum. It takes about an hour to complete the audio guided tour (available in Spanish and English), but just a few minutes if you want to skip the background information and just "see the rocks." That said, it's an interesting collection. The little museum is well organized, with friendly staff. Perfect for a short break from hiking.
  • Great museum. It's a good tour to go if you are tired, because there is no further walking and it's very close to the downtown(around 0.3 miles from caracoles street ). Not pricey and good maintenance. The visit it done along with audio tracks (headphones) which are available in several languages. It is also possible to buy REAL meteorite shards and also some jewelry (which are quite expensive, but are authenticity certified).
  • Very well organized, little museum. There are Audioguides and completing the visit with them will take you ~45 minutes. There is written information in Spanish and English. You can touch real meteorites there and the staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining what you see. You can also buy some jewelry with real meteorites in them. Entry is 3500 per person.
  • Great place if you want to know about meteorites and the history of our planet. The museum is very little but I really enjoyed it!
  • Very informative, even fir those who doesn't know nothing about an meteorite. You can touch the oldest stone in the universe.
