  • You do not go to Atacama for a museum. Had some time on getaway day so I walked to this museum and was pleasantly suprised. Housed in a canvas dome, the place was quite cool in the morning. A 30 minut...  more »

  • A good idea, curious and didactic, and a good collection, but when you finish the visit gives you the impression that lack you a little dynamism and that at times becomes repetitive. My impression is that it would improve much if didactic videos had the duration of audio and were at the same time, showing more images, maps of the area, etc, which would be very costly but only one work of editing and video montage. The issue is that it is an interesting place, and in which you can learn a lot about meteorites, but something is missing to make it a great Museum.

  • Great museum - in half an hour you will learn a lot about meteorites and their impact on life on earth. Also you may get to meet the owner, who talks about the topic very passionately!
  • A small museum but a great chance to see and touch meteorites up close. The staff is friendly and available to answer questions.
  • great museum with lots of meteorite samples collected locally. one of the most interesting places in town.
  • A small place where a huge knowledge is acquired. Audio system guide is perfect not to miss any explanation. At the end of a personal talk with a guide charrua served to clear doubts and keep my children encouraged with the theme.

  • Interesting place to visit which tells the colo was formed the universe and our planet. There is a guide that teaches how to differentiate the types of meteorites. Preferred.
