  • The village is picturesque and home to some people. Could be a nice visit if it wasn't for human behavior, especially in some places. I saw a man push a small llama of 10 days of age stay tied and exposed to tourists to take a picture. It is clear that this person was charging a high price for the photos. Technically could be considered a crime of animal cruelty. Worsening the situation by the fact that this is a baby animal. Unfortunately most tourists do not understand the situation. Another negative point was the little church on the hill that was closed to visitation. Hypocrisy of the destination, because the House was closed to people. For me, it was a waste of time.

  • After going to the geysers, machuca is a stop mandatory. Is a village very small (not there is much that see) but serve some skewers of calls ($3000) of it more rich that going to try. They also have patties of goat cheese and coffee/tea for a good breakfast.
