  • You have to apply on the website of soul, however, just reach the quotas for the waiting list and those who arrive just in case. Visit the facilities where live soul staff, not you can climb up to the Observatory with its antennas because it is very high. Explain how this unique Observatory since does not watch the stars but that the darkness, where there is no light but if there is movement and much to discover. VERY interesting and opened my mind to something that is complex to understand.

  • Guided tours of the Observatory should plan by means of its web site and register well in advance at least two months, if there is no availability there is a waiting list, since not all those who register come. The first thing we thought when we register us, was that we would be in the middle of 66 antennas but when you arrive, the guide explains that they are located at 5,000 meters and the base of the only Observatory to 2,900 and access is only for workers. Even so, it is a visit incredible, totally recommended, all very organized and well explained. You can see how they operate the antennas, the means of transport to move them. In addition, is proud that the best and most modern Observatory of this world in Chile.

  • If your interest in astronomy beyond the enchantment of looking at the sky and see the constellations, stars and planets, this is the place you have to meet. International scientific project installed in the best place on the planet for observation of the universe. 60 giant antennas, day and night.
