  • I, my husband and my daughter 7 years we stayed 5 days in Santiago and I confess that I was unsure about visiting the region of Cajon after reading many comments on some sites, on the road is dangerous and full of "cliffs", but as we went in February and was enough heat we decided to venture out and I can say that it was awesome! We were with rental car, car basics (1000), we can do the ride, most of the road is paved and the visual is losing the breath, we can see snow in the mountains and it was amazing!!! Beautiful waterfalls along the way, we were able to get their feet wet in one of them, and follow up to the baths in swimming-pools, another wonder of love! Don't forget to bring a snack, water and sunscreen. Do not forget to do this tour, it was the most amazing day we had in Chile, our daughter loved it!

  • Quiet little town
  • It is a wonderful place, you can get to the banks of the River in some places, although there aren't many places where to leave the car. Good areas for picnics and extreme sports like bungee, rafting and trekking.
