  • The cajon del Maipo is a small oasis of residents of the capital who want to breathe fresh air. The houses are in adobe and there are a few conditions to live. Is at the foot of the volcano San Jose which continues in business but controlled. The journey from Santiago to here along the Andes mountains, with peaks that exceed the 5,000 metres, has breathtaking views. We made the trip in the summer for that rarely see snow in the winter, this path must be gorgeous, but very dangerous. In Cajon del Maipo saw the pools, we took lots of pictures and we returned the same way for lunch. Our guide took us to a restaurant called "CASA BOSQUE SAN JOSE DEL MAIPO" whose evaluation will do then.

  • Most beautiful place I've ever seen. Snow and sunshine at the same time. Perfect place, beautiful view. Did the tour of the company Mi travel through Chile and it was great. Our guide and driver Jorge, who speaks very good Portuguese left us and was super helpful. Recommend.

  • Quiet little town
  • It is a wonderful place, you can get to the banks of the River in some places, although there aren't many places where to leave the car. Good areas for picnics and extreme sports like bungee, rafting and trekking.
