A church of medium size, with 1 and 2 wings. in it are the remains of Monsignor Fagnano, who brought the Salesian movement to the ends of the world.

Church located in Av.Bulnes, in regular size, rather dark. Opening hours are not very regular, so much so that the only time that logre enter at the same moment I had to leave because they were going to close it (12 noon). Nothing special is not worth

I wanted to visit this place because it was built by the Salesians in Piedmont are of great importance. The sanctuary is very typical and tied to the Salesian architecture. Very nice and spacious interior. Visiting the church you can obtain an indulgence. Not to be missed. From the Center easily accessible. Located in front of the cemetery.

This beautiful shrine was built in 1911 and was completed in 1928. It was commissioned its construction by Monsignor José Fagnano in gratitude to María Auxiliadora by the success obtained in the evangelization of the natives. Its construction was conducted by Father Juan Bernabé. It is considered the most beautiful religious architectural construction in Argentinean and Chilean patagonia, with their lamps, marble and stained glass.

Where to stay in Punta Arenas

Punta Arenas boasts a huge selection of hotel options within its bustling sprawl, which range from low-key restored manors and homes to modern lodges and high-rises packed with amenities. You'll find an array of mid-range accommodations in the city's downtown area, within a few blocks of the waterfront and river. This gives you easy access to many of the city's most popular attractions and places to visit. However, Punta Arenas features very few true budget accommodations due to the large tourist industry and huge influx of cruise ship passengers that frequent town.
