Palacio Sara Braun, Punta Arenas
(4.5/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Built at the turn of the 20th century, Palacio Sara Braun was once the home of a powerful Portuguese trading family. Today, the building serves as one of the top historical attractions of the city. A large part of the building's appeal lies in its Neoclassical architecture, designed by French architect Numa Mayer. Walk through the residence to observe well-preserved furniture, paintings, and other artifacts from the time of its construction. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Punta Arenas holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Palacio Sara Braun and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Pity that the Palacio Sara Braun is private and has become a Museum, because architecture is impressive and they do not provide more information, approach you only pay an entry and you can meet some salons, is a ride.

  • A Villa that comes across as a Palace. The estate was built in the late 19.Jh. Today, the building houses a Museum and hotel and restaurant in its interior.

  • The pub which is where I was, found me it cute, lots of wood, almost looked like being in an old ship by the labyrinth of the place and the dark, atmosphere this good nice music, slowness in mmm attention, but good to spend some time in a picturesque place is well, it is in the sub soil no windows.
