  • This museum is spectacular, it is a required step if you explore the Punta Arenas, I highlight the peoples originating in Patagonia ethnographic collection. The souvenir shop is very full and with good prices.

  • Expanded to a fourth room, I missed the patagones gods real scale of yesteryear. Expensive for the low maintenance giving it to taxidermy.

Where to stay in Punta Arenas

Punta Arenas boasts a huge selection of hotel options within its bustling sprawl, which range from low-key restored manors and homes to modern lodges and high-rises packed with amenities. You'll find an array of mid-range accommodations in the city's downtown area, within a few blocks of the waterfront and river. This gives you easy access to many of the city's most popular attractions and places to visit. However, Punta Arenas features very few true budget accommodations due to the large tourist industry and huge influx of cruise ship passengers that frequent town.
