  • It must get to the end of the route 9. In that place there is a pair that has a shopping cart and sell coffee, tea, choripan, complete and pizza. Then, you need to walk for approx. 2 hours along the shore to the lighthouse. It is a path with a spectacular landscape, especially before moving up to the lighthouse, the landscape is paradise. Ideal use light clothing, windproof and very comfortable shoes. Go very early to take advantage of all day walking.

  • A trekking of 2 hours roundtrip 2 back, the bad thing is that it is all in stone but the end of the place is awesome. I recommend that they calculate reach the lighthouse at sunset because the views are much more beautiful. listen to whales and the sky was reflected in the water... incredible, without words. I'll never forget.

  • If you are looking for a different adventure to do in punta arenas, this is one of them. If you want to go camping I advise you the following. Take a bus from punta arenas to san juan and down, make finger in the direction of the lighthouse. When is complete the road of vehicles are some 2.5 hours up to the lighthouse. There is no camping, but in the Bay the Eagle an hour from the lighthouse (Cape forward towards principle) allowed camping. The water of the stream is drinkable.
