  • We stayed at the Dreams twice before & after our trip to Antarctica. The hotel is very centrally located and given the height of the building is easy to find if you get turned around. It is so easy to...  more »
  • We went for the first time with two friends to the SKY BAR of Punta Arenas (we live here some time ago) we got very anxious and happy, sat, the place comfortable and pretty, even there all good... take us the letters, which were totally filthy dirty and sticky gave ASCO touching them, put us a dirty glass candle on the table, take us the order. We ask a few drinks and a few things to eat, while drinks arrive in a completely dirty drinks, then food, horrible food quality (very bad sushi, a breaded squid dry and tasteless, cold and a few skewers of chicken with trimmings and) an ordinary yogurt sauce, no flavor to anything) poor, rugged, without any concern for the mounting of the food, etc. By true when mounted the table cutlery dirty, salsa chorreados, sticky salt, all this the garzonas all glued to the telephone conversation between them, the situation seemed unusual by what I ask to speak with charge, a smooth-haired girl a unclear, of average height, reach out to the table and asks us, I explain the situation to what I didn't receive a response, I wonder just that I was taking and change me the Cup, nor an apology or convincing explanation about the situation clearly bad, work on your part with the bar in general, then very boring already of what happened account, we ask no one paid attention as much as we woke up the hand, the garzonas remained glued to the phone laughing including, comes the account by $35,000 for 5 things that were not worth even $1,000 course in quality not pay the tip, something I do religiously (manageress went long) we totally disillusioned place without either a response or apology for the bad service delivered. Very bad experience for a bar in a hotel 5 star. Of course I do not recommend it for anything.

  • I've never stayed in this hotel but I have gone to the bar on their upper floor a couple of times. This is essentially a big casino hotel. My experience at the bar was not good. I was there with my hu...  more »

  • The rooms are very nice. Nice beds and more high end. Gorgeous bathroom with a rain fixture shower and tub. Nice floor to ceiling windows. Modern fixtures and new finishings. Beds are comfortable and plush. Great facility with a spa, pool, sky bar, and casino. Great location for seeing any sites in the town. Walking distance to most restaurants, sites and bars. Right at the water with nice views of the town and the water. Front desk will store bags and answer questions if asked. Check in was smooth. It would be the perfect spot but the service is lacking. You have to track people down. Everyone is polite but just not offering assistance or being help. They just answer questions. In all the restaurants (sky bar, coffee shop and restaurant), the staff has to be chased down to get a check. It is like they avoid eye contact and interaction. There is also not a concierge for booking things. It is quite expensive and you would expect excellent service for the price point.
  • They charge you to get in... It's very small. Apart from that it's fine. Good stocked bar, craps, roulette, etc. No photos as was told it's illegal. Sorry
  • Room are big, service are good but food is so so!
  • Had a very nice and enjoyable experience here. I speak limited Spanish but that's the beauty of blackjack; it's a universal game

Where to stay in Punta Arenas

Punta Arenas boasts a huge selection of hotel options within its bustling sprawl, which range from low-key restored manors and homes to modern lodges and high-rises packed with amenities. You'll find an array of mid-range accommodations in the city's downtown area, within a few blocks of the waterfront and river. This gives you easy access to many of the city's most popular attractions and places to visit. However, Punta Arenas features very few true budget accommodations due to the large tourist industry and huge influx of cruise ship passengers that frequent town.
