Club Andino Centro de Ski, Punta Arenas

(4.1/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Head to Club Andino Centro de Ski for panoramic views of the city below and also the chance to hit the slopes. This relatively small club operates only one lift, but the view from the top more than makes up for any wait times, as the city and snowcapped mountain vista stretch out before you. Those not up to skiing can take the marked hiking trail that starts from the top and goes all the way down to the bottom, giving everyone a chance to experience the majestic views. Finish with a hearty meal at the restaurant at the base of the slope. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Punta Arenas holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Club Andino Centro de Ski and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • In summer moves very well through its multiple paths, I made them walk and also running. For those who love running in nature, away from cars, crossing streets and traffic lights, this place is ideal. The average distance is 300 metres away and there is bordering chorrilos penetrating into forests of Lenga and Coigües mainly. Many of these trees are covered also by large number of mosses, giving a very spatial and interesting touch route. In travels seen since the Summit, the Strait of Magellan and Tierra del Fuego, as from any other party. It is also possible to see to the West part of the Seno Otway and towards the South, the mountain range known as the Cordillera Darwin. In terms of terrain, is varied from trails to field cross country on firm ground, narrow paths within lush forests, ponds, streams and typical Patagonian peat where the humidity and the coiron put heavier the race. Very recommendable for all the ages and lovers of the running especially.
