Waterfall Nature / Park
Marvel at Saltos del Petrohue, a long series of waterfalls that cascade down a volcanic rock chute. Backed by the prominent Osorno Volcano, the falls tumble from pool to pool formed by the region's distinctive black basalt formations, beginning in the Petrohue River and ending in Todos los Santos lake. Explore the lushly forested surroundings, fed by the clear waters of the river. You can even try your hand at kayaking or rafting on certain sections of the falls with a guided tour. • We went to the Saltos del Petrohue as part of our cruce de los lagos tour. It is a great place where to see the volcano and take pics to take home.  more »
  • You get to see the force of a large water mass first-handed, right in front of you. It's safe to say that you get a bit frightened too, but that's its main appeal. Great morning getaway.  more »
  • The Falls were running hard and fast. This is a great spot to enjoy the power to nature and to take in some spectacular scenery. A visit to this area wouldn't be complete without stopping off here. Th...  more »

  • Maravilloso. No visitaba el parque hace más de 10 años. Todo mejoró, felicitaciones. Hay artesanía, señaleticas, buena información, más seguridad, más senderos, gente linda...
  • What used to be a pristine natural place is now a overcrowded tourist trap. They charge admission (more for foreigners, beware), but the floods of people don´t even let you see or enjoy the views of the waterfalls. This is exactly how NOT to develop an attraction. The main building has only shops, not even a restroom, for that you need to walk across river past the admission point. Very disappointed, specially compared with 15-20 years ago.
  • Nice place to visit. Glacier-fed waterfalls with stunning backdrop of snow capped mountains. You will surely enjoy this place. A ten minute drive down an unpaved gravel road you can take a very scenic cruise to the town of Peulla.
  • beautiful place, the energy of the water is very pure and strong. lovely for some pictures of the landscape and nature.
