Quirky Museo Pablo Fierro is the brainchild of a local artist, collector,  and local historian who has spend the better part of his life gathering objects from the beginning of the colonial era to the present day. The owner still lives in the building and displays his collection proudly, offering tours of the exhibits and disclosing the history of the area and his own life. Museum is in full Puerto Varas costanera and is free of charge (a collaboration is left $$ at the entrance) its creator is almost always and sells photos and paintings in its interior, is full of old things: radios, tv, etc, there is up to a classroom inside. Recommended visit!

It is a few blocks from the center of the city, is not paid entry and leaves only a collaboration. Paul, the owner, receives them and tells his story. A good way to show children antiques and as recover them in a useful way.

It's not worth it to go there. For me, it's not interesting to the interior of a House, but the front is very beautiful! He is really nice! Don't shear account entry, pay if you want qto you want.

We discovered it while walking at the Costanera. Its facade gets your attention because of the multiple items it is built. Inside we found a very interesting place to dig into the little pieces of daily history. Pablo, the museum maker, is working always to add new things to the construction. We really loved to have some words from him and to know the meaning is various pieces hanged over there. I really appreciated also read the little cards we the visitors write to him. You can spend hours in there. Really a nice place to nostalgia.

Amazing place! There is a lot of items to see and is such a big house!

It's a free attraction, which is good. But the quality is low, it has no style and more than a museum it's just someone's untidy basement put on display

Such a cute museum! It was full of vintage stuff and art, loved it.

Where to stay in Puerto Varas

To enjoy views of the volcano, stay as close to the edge of Llanquihue Lake as possible. Most higher-end accommodations sit right on the lake's shores, with a range of resorts and boutique hotels offering a touch of luxury. Look a few streets back from the lake for a choice of budget hostels and small guesthouses. Reserve your place in advance to avoid disappointment, regardless of the season.
