  • Stay on the shores of Lake Lhanquihue is priceless! Wonderful view to the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco. Has a pedestrian route that borders the Lake very good for walking. In the Centre of the cities has, with the best angle for wonderful pictures. Beautiful!

  • I put the title "incredibly horible", because all the other towns of the region are beautiful and fascinating. All the towns and cities surrounding the volcanoes in the region of the Lakes, are recommended by 100% to visit, with the exception of Llanquihue. Our experience was short but enough to want to leave as soon as possible. We were visiting the beautiful Frutillar, when we decided to continue our way to Puerto Varas. This must be taken as a way more fast route 5, which is in excellent condition as almost all roads and routes of the South of Chile. But we made a mistake with a sign and we do not take the route 5 but that we entered in the small town of LlANQUIHUE and... by God! who knows the federal capital of argentina, knows very well as it is a village of emergency, and I can tell you that this place was so!, waste, poverty, disorder, houses with style of zero auctions, semi destroyed, or in disrepair, zero signal, and apparent hostility of its people... the truth that was not approached to ask how to get out of there. Or want to see the volcano. The only thing that they were looking forward to was go! incredible that so as I said before, all of southern Chile is beautiful.
