Hiking Trail
Hike up to Mirador Cerro Dorotea for a scenic view of Puerto Natales and its surroundings. A private farm owns the trailhead area and when you return the owners usually offer snacks, coffee, and tea. Bring suitable footwear and brave the steep uphill trek to the viewpoint, admiring the different landscapes and vegetation along the way. When you arrive at the windy summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the bay, and the snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance. • Simple walk of one hour to reach the top, the view is fabulous! You can see the city of Puerto Natales, the señoret channel, the hills surrounding and in the background the Monte Balmaceda, really is a very good choice to make in half a day, the way to reach the entrance of the trail is through taxi, walking or cycling from Natales (5 km) and once you get there you have to pay an entry , but if the day is well worth paying it and enjoy of walks it and views. Highly recommended

  • Points up, that climb all the time 1 h 30 to go up 45 minutes to "disassemble" nice tenants 5000 pesos the entrance with tea, coffee, crackers, just pancakes cooked apples spread for the climb Marmalade it is nonstop so if not trained you're going down the reward is worth the difficulty view over the Bay and at the bottom the glaciers but attention atop wind more than costs

  • People who take a right of way to see the city and the fjord with a bit of height and setback. BOF.
