Glacier Grey, Puerto Natales
(4.7/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
See the tip of the expansive Patagonian ice fields at Glacier Grey. Flowing towards a lake of the same name, the glacier creates an imposing ice wall, which you can view from aboard a tour boat. Reserve tickets for your trip in advance, as spots sell out quickly and it's difficult to visit the glacier as an independent traveler, unless you're willing to hike in. If you do choose to embark on the trek, you can camp at grounds near the glacier and enjoy stunning views when you wake up the next morning. Take a look at our Puerto Natales itinerary builder to schedule your visit to Glacier Grey and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Much wind on the walk to the glacier and in the trekking of the glacier! with earmuffs... can make the tour of the boat where is much closer to the glacier, it is nice and not so expensive

  • The visit to the Grey glacier is impressive. The beach is accessed through a Lenga forest. The beach is very large. There is very windy so what is good to go with Hat and glasses. To see the glacier there is that walk until the end and of there climb slightly to a viewpoint from which is has a very good view. Really very nice.
