Landmark Tourist Spot
Visit Plaza de Armas de Puerto Montt to take in many of Santiago's sights in a single place. The square, inaugurated in 1541, forms the center of Santiago's original grid layout. Around it you'll find many museums, a major cathedral, and further examples of 16th- to 18th-century architecture. Consider hiring a tour guide of this area to really appreciate its historical significance. Due to the density of the nearby attractions, expect the square to be bustling. Rarely will you see the same thing happening twice. Where to stay in Puerto Montt

The most attractive of Puerto Montt's accommodations sit by the water, with new-build and nicely aged hotels offering extensive views and comfortable rooms. Move away from the water and prices tend to drop somewhat; budget hotels and guesthouses cluster in largely residential areas of the city, offering a nice enough place to put down your bags and go explore the region. If your focused on exploring the surrounding landscape, consider staying close to one of the main arterial roads for convenient regional travel options.

  • It is not the most beautiful square of Chile, but it plays a good role. You can perform activities with citizenship in the dome there, which allows to make events. This square is located opposite the beautiful heart of the Reloncavi, having privileged view of the cruise ships that visit the area. I must highlight the artistic work to the pews and in the pool... A few ceramic mosaics that decorate very beautifully so much construction cement.
