  • We saw videos and photos, but they do not do justice to the beauty of the place. Very interesting architecture applied for pools and paths. They could improve the lockers and bathrooms, as they should not be so rustic. No to be missed. Staff very friendly.

  • Super recommend visiting the baths of water, 36, 39, 42° degrees ... in an environment in the middle of rocks ... and with several pools of Aguas calientes ... worth knowing and relax in these waters ... gets a little out of town, but I think getting there ends up paying off ... have a good diner and they lend the towel already at the entrance ... worth it!

  • Magic and relaxing time. Not to visit it and see its waterfalls, this place is sublime. Power to relax in the many pools offered is really great. Very relaxing time!

  • This IS paradise on earth! It has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in my life! It's so relaxing and so beautiful you're just really amazed. Wow. It has toilets, changing rooms and they provide you with a lock for a locker and a towel. There are many different "pools" with different temperatures ranging from +6C° to +46C°. There is also a restaurant that sells pizzas and sandwiches. Top ten in the world. The beauty was even impossible to catch on camera... :)
  • The thermals are awesome with magnificent views and water falls. Friendly staff, ready to assist. Open untill late, food shack on site. The road was rough on our compact rental as is not paved all the way.
  • Absolutely amazing! By far the best hot springs I've ever visited. The entire hot spring complex sits in a narrow volcanic valley with waterfalls and a river running quite literally through the middle of it. The esthetics and architecture compliment the canyon so well giving it a sense of perfect feng shui. Get here before noon (they open at 11 am) and pay the discounted entrance fee of 22,000 pesos (versus 25,000 full price) and also avoid most of the crowds during the afternoon. Despite what another reviewer said the lockers are actually quite good. They give you a towel and lock with your ID as a deposit with your entry fee. The keys have an elastic band that fit perfectly around your wrist making it really convenient. The last 15 km or so of the road to the not springs is unpaved, but totally drivable for virtually any type of car - though there are a couple sections where you need to take it slow. This is a must visit if you're in the Pucon region!
  • Termas = 10. Infrastructure of the place = 5. Lockers are a joke. Security folks are incompetent. Our keys were stolen - thankfully not our stuff. Guards are there only to charge you extra when your keys get stolen. Not helpful at all. Shame such a gem of a place is so badly managed. Ah... Road to get there is a nightmare too. Be advised.
  • One of the most amazing places I've ever visited. To have a hot bath while raining in a river down a volcano it is simply magic.

Where to stay in Pucon

As a world-renowned haven for outdoor adventurers, Pucon features a wide range of options when it comes to places to stay, though the bottom line for even budget prices is significantly higher than elsewhere in Chile. Many of the most affordable establishments are the hostels clustered in the city center, which often feature communal areas popular with the backpacker crowd. On the other end of the spectrum, you can opt for upscale lodges with their own pools, restaurants, and Wi-Fi capabilities, also within walking distance of just about any place in town. Pucon teems with adventure travelers in January and February, when prices go up and availability plummets. Make reservations ahead to avoid disappointment, or opt to go outside the height of tourist season.
