Waterfall Nature / Park
Witness the graceful flow of water at Ojos del Caburga, a triple waterfall not far from the Chilean town of Pucon. Enveloped by lush vegetation, the falls take their name from the overhead perspective, from which they resemble a pair of blue and green eyes. Walk the short trail from the dirt road until you arrive at the falls, which tumble into a gorgeous turquoise pool. Look out over the scene from a variety of viewpoints, and try to capture the perfect picture of the moment. Plan your visit to Ojos del Caburga and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Pucon family vacation planner.

  • The ride to Ojos worth at price. Cobra-if 1,000 pesos per person. Inside, you'll see a beautiful waterfall but no big deal (not high or bulky). The color of water is more blue but nothing too different than what you see in the Lakes of the region. The laguna verde didn't call me much attention. I found the structure to go there bad. Dangerous steps, slippery rocks and poor signaling.

  • For those who go to Pucón and surroundings, this is a place not to be missed. Its waters are great, but you are not authorized to bathe there.

  • It is a very nice place for children. Easy to get from terminal with buses Jac leaving buses. The view is better from the entrance that is the Christ

  • 1000 pesos entrance. Boring 15 minute walk. Mediocre waterfall, overrated spot. Avoid at all cost. Try trails around the Villarica Volvano instead, or El claro waterfall.
  • 30 to 45 min only are needed to visit this place which is very cute and beautiful and blue ! Easy hike.
  • Beautiful place but probably overrated. Nice walk.
  • Worth a visit if you're in the area
  • Nice view of the clear, blue waters. Works on a pay - take your photo - leave system which makes this activity really 'touristy', lots of tourist buses etc.. You need to take a second road on the other side of the river and pay a co competitor to get a closer access to the waterfalls and a different view.

Where to stay in Pucon

As a world-renowned haven for outdoor adventurers, Pucon features a wide range of options when it comes to places to stay, though the bottom line for even budget prices is significantly higher than elsewhere in Chile. Many of the most affordable establishments are the hostels clustered in the city center, which often feature communal areas popular with the backpacker crowd. On the other end of the spectrum, you can opt for upscale lodges with their own pools, restaurants, and Wi-Fi capabilities, also within walking distance of just about any place in town. Pucon teems with adventure travelers in January and February, when prices go up and availability plummets. Make reservations ahead to avoid disappointment, or opt to go outside the height of tourist season.
