  • A great Park for those who like to make trekking and take photographs. It can be in smaller vehicles and of course in 4 x 4. Also becomes public transportation departing from Pucón. There is a camping area and several trekking routes. If you go with small children or older adults, I recommend the Ñirrico trail, which is about 800 meters of extension, nothing of complexity and has a lookout half way. I also recommend the Los Lagos trail, this lasts a couple of hours and is of medium complexity, with good views and a phenomenal landscape, very well-signposted route and there are several places where you can get water to hydrate if you want something more and complex (by the) physical effort and distance), I recommend the path San Sebastian. For this path, it is ideal to begin the adventure I wish before 10 o'clock in the morning, to have time to rest and take photographs, since visits from this trail are magnificent. Once you reach the Summit, you can see part of Argentine territory and at least 5 volcanoes and if you are lucky, you will see a Condor flying over the area. For this path you must take about 2 liters of water or isotonic drinks, since you're going to get quite tired. Be careful at the start of this path there is only a place to get water. Then there is no chance of finding another place for that... If you're going to do this trail, trying to do Summit, although at some point will want to not follow, I recommend to get to the top... That view is priceless greetings

  • Only one word can describe it: awesome place! You really connect with nature and it is an amazing experience. We were a day of rain and snow that made something more unique ride even. Recommendation to reach the lagoon which are around 3.5 hours. I recommend to take water and something to eat, whereas in up and down are like 6 hours. If you go on a day of rain or cold is important that clothes be ends and resistant to water, to make the ascent safer. I recommend the use of walking sticks, since although the rise is not difficult if there are steep part that the down can be a little dangerous on a day of rain and Thursday as we had to us. With any weather it is worth to know this park!

  • Seven-hour (round-trip) hike takes you from the parking to the Lakes boy, Toro and green lagoon. The snowy landscape of the three lakes is impressive. The only downside is the mud that flooded a good part of the way, moreover is a total enjoyment.

  • Beautiful park. We went in the winter and hiked sendero los Lagos and it was absolutely stunning in the snow. If you are in the area you can't miss this park!
  • Climb to San Sebastián. Great view from the top and perfect for a day out.
  • Excellent and extensive Park to explore. It has all trekkings, easy, medium and difficult, hours or days. The landscapes are typical of this area, with lagoons and large slopes. The Park infrastructure is good.

  • It is a wonderful place, where nature is shown in its maximum expression, very nice Park for treaking. I recommend go with time, they open at 8:30 am. They are approximately 3 to 4 hours to reach the area of lakes, mainly in ascent, this time of winter, the lakes are frozen, it is beautiful. Totally recommended. Wear comfortable clothes, water and food.

  • Preferred national park. It is very beautiful. I caught my attention the amount of flora that had this park, for me I had never seen araucarias, I was surprised by the amount that was in this park. It has very good viewpoints and many waterfalls. One can be downloaded in the Green Lake if one wants it. What am I, I recommend it.

Where to stay in Pucon

As a world-renowned haven for outdoor adventurers, Pucon features a wide range of options when it comes to places to stay, though the bottom line for even budget prices is significantly higher than elsewhere in Chile. Many of the most affordable establishments are the hostels clustered in the city center, which often feature communal areas popular with the backpacker crowd. On the other end of the spectrum, you can opt for upscale lodges with their own pools, restaurants, and Wi-Fi capabilities, also within walking distance of just about any place in town. Pucon teems with adventure travelers in January and February, when prices go up and availability plummets. Make reservations ahead to avoid disappointment, or opt to go outside the height of tourist season.
