Museo de los Volcanes, Neltume

(180+ reviews on the web)
Specialty Museum
Go on a journey through the universe at Museo de los Volcanes, a museum located in the Huilo Huilo community, which itself resides in a luscious natural reserve. The museum displays artifacts, findings, and curiosities from all over the world, all themed around the evolution of our planet. A mammoth tusk found in Siberia jostles for attention with walk-in replicas of Chilean coal and copper mines, as well as other interesting exhibits. Unusually, tours of the museum begin at the dome and end at the bottom of the five-floor building. • There isn't much to see, there is a person who Orient on what is this showing. The only thing which I call the attention was a carved elephant tusk.

  • It does not have an editorial line, they gathered some things old and ready, fomee, could have been a unique Museum of the mapuche people or the surrounding area and would be much better

  • Unfortunately, when we went, they were remodeling everything and I have had cut the light. We were able to see only the first and second floors, and explained to us what was going to treat everything when you were ready. A penalty.
