A trip not to be missed if you are in the city of Lota. Every corner has a path that allows you to see the place and perceive in part, those years in which this park was traveled by their owners. There is a beautiful view towards the Gulf of Arauco and part of Lota low.

The entire Park is pretty, with layout and nice places where to admire the beautiful view that gives. There are places that have Wi-Fi. Only I would like that the tour would be more prepared. Definitely a place not to be missed.

A resplendent Park which was a d love from del Señor Cousino now has his wife Isidora GOYENECHEA this showing the power of the ' Silver contrast with the mine or the miners lived hell and the mine of course belonged to the Señor Cousino... This Park shows the wealth of a family in the 19 th century.

This beautiful park was a special gift from Mr Luis Cousiño to his wife Mrs Isidora Goyenechea, she collected more than 350 vegetal species (many of them even unknown till now) including seeds and plants from the farest places in world. Today it constitutes a valuable botanical collection and, as a park keeps an interesting collection of french sculptures very well mantained, there are guides from the Museum that will tell you amazing stories about this place.

Where to stay in Lota

As the town attempts to transition its economy from mining to tourism, accommodations in Lota remain scarce. You won't find much more than a couple of rental apartments. Consider staying in Concepcion, just 39 km (24 mi) to the north, and a regional hub of transport, commerce, and tourism. From there, you can easily reach Lota by taking the short, scenic drive along the coast.
