  • To enjoy this park have to explore it fully, understand it since the time which was built because there one can give you the transcendence that deserves, this since for many it can be a lot of trees set up in a certain way, but when it understood from the time previous offers you a way of how life was at that moment in Lota or as the oligarchy could give these luxuries live it!

  • A beautiful spot with historical significance. A wonderful place to spend the afternoon with the family.
  • This beautiful park was a special gift from Mr Luis Cousiño to his wife Mrs Isidora Goyenechea, she collected more than 350 vegetal species (many of them even unknown till now) including seeds and plants from the farest places in world. Today it constitutes a valuable botanical collection and, as a park keeps an interesting collection of french sculptures very well mantained, there are guides from the Museum that will tell you amazing stories about this place.
  • It has QR signs with audio information in english
  • Astonishing 💎
  • Beautiful, historic, good, no doubt guided a tour that should make each of the visitors to Lota. Transports you and manage to reflect on the important things that you commonly forget with the modernity of these times. If they together with the descent to the mine Chiflón of devil comes out more economical and complete. Recommended 100%. Bring sunscreen and water if it's summer.

Where to stay in Lota

As the town attempts to transition its economy from mining to tourism, accommodations in Lota remain scarce. You won't find much more than a couple of rental apartments. Consider staying in Concepcion, just 39 km (24 mi) to the north, and a regional hub of transport, commerce, and tourism. From there, you can easily reach Lota by taking the short, scenic drive along the coast.
