#Outdoor Activity, #Must See
Walk across the bridge for views from above Saltos del Laja, where a set of four horseshoe-shaped waterfalls sit side by side along a total width of 455 m (1,492 ft). The easternmost fall is the tallest cascade here, plunging from a total height of 35 m (114 ft). Because of the site's popularity with local and foreign tourists alike, a number of souvenir stands and restaurants have set up shop a stone's throw from the main attraction, so options for grabbing a bite to eat are plentiful. • We just go out there and it's beautiful! As we explain there is little water, but to go for the first time, is still beautiful! Artisan jobs bothered me a bit with their music, but to get to see the waterfall one forgets! There are food stalls where you can pay with card (nothing too sophisticated), but it helps. There are horseback riding and boat rides.

  • Short walk to a small waterfall. Plenty of unobtrusive souvenir shops, clean bathrooms. Just off the highway.  more »
  • My little water, or compared to the times of yore, when he passed the road there. Shocking the chirps of water what is there. Anyway is a classic to visit when you walk around here. Very nice craftsmanship and you have everything to eat in their surroundings with plenty of water, is attractive to make boat ride. Somewhere's gotta go!

  • Waterfall is impressive, a little bit touristy. Worth a look if you are passing by. The adjacent restaurant was beautiful. Great service and food!
  • It's very crowded and you will find a bit of garbage down the path and river. Its a nice stop if you are going further south. The waterfall is cool, thought looks smaller every year. The river is nice, take the boat trip if you can, it is totally worth it.
  • Beautiful waterfall and river below. You can go for a swim or boat ride. Admission is free, there are many souvenir kiosks on the way up to the waterfall and also places to eat. They also offer horse rides at the very top. It is quite a bit of a walk up hill, which would be difficult with a wheelchair. It's mostly a smooth path, but part of it is dirt, and another part with steps. It is crazy busy on holidays and not as much water runs down in the summer. Low light would be trash people leave behind. It's so sad to see the poor care of the place. Maybe the local government can implement some regulations to protect it from further damage?
  • Great place. It was very busy when I went, and very hot so alot of people were swimming in the water. You pass alot of shops along the way and it looks like they are building more ways to get to it. Very touristy but nice area overall. A bit crowded for parking but easy to walk around. Feels safe with the guards around as well but people are super friendly anyway. No one bothers anyone, everyone is just out to enjoy the sun and day :)
  • Beautiful waterfall. Great place for tourist groups and families. Will definitely recommend.
