  • It is a wonderful place, it is not easy to reach but worth, has a dock where you embark and take you to visit the whales and dolphins, if you're lucky and arrive early could descend on the island, highly recommended.

  • It is a very picturesque village. It is small but on the premises you can find everything on sale. Its main attraction is the ride to isla damas, where you can see penguins, dolphins and if you're lucky, whales. It is a very good place to go to relax and get out of the noisy city.

  • I've gone with a group of students in environmental engineering, costs for travel to the island is $10,000 in barges of 10 people, they lowered it to $8,000 but 12 boys had to go by barge, cut total $4,000. Camping light, right to use water and bath, $6,500 per person not by place. They fell to $5,000 per person. The Lord of CONAF did not help, not even to advise where to eat and where to stay. At the end we camp in the dunes. There were 62 in total between teachers and students that tomorrow will be professionals in the environmental area. That was depressing notion of an ecological community.
