  • From Chonchi is very easy to get, Ferries depart every 15 minutes and cost $2100 pesos per car. The roads on the island with very good although when I went were arranging which I would visit. Once inside the island is not much what you can do more than revel in the beautiful scenery which this island gives in each corner. If you already are on the island you can visit the Park Yayanes where you can make a small hike and have lunch overlooking a Chilota jungle in all its glory. How not to be missed is to take road to Detif, although the town is barely a hamlet with a church, the way to get to the really beautiful highlighting the passage by a narrow in height that is unique.

  • Good place for lunch in the Huenay stove. Managed by its owners, don Juan and Doña Flor offer crabs, merzula and piglets! Very good and recommended. Don't forget to visit this great place.

  • Beautiful, well paved and marked island. It has ferries departing from Chonchi from 8 in the morning until 12 o'clock. It is worth touring the villages on the island particularly Detif town.
