As in the rest of the archipelago, the population of Lemuy Island were inspired by a deep religious faith and built 8 churches, each special in its own way. Some, like Ichuac, Aldachildo and Detif are more than 100 years old and have recently been declared World Heritage Sites, along with 15 other Chilote churches. • The owner of the Lodge Huillincao insisted us that we visit Isla Lemuy, fortunately we put case. Before you go we find out the schedules of the shuttle and it struck us that leave every 15 minutes, up to 20 or 20:30 Hrs. Then leave each time approximately (better confirm) the first thing we did was go to Puqueldón where we had lunch, there had many options but we decided on the Lemuyess restaurant in calle Los racing. The offer was simple, two options, beef or pork... ja! Thus there is no as being wrong. The attention of the very nice restaurant. After luego de almorzar lunch we went to know the Yayanes Park and for very bad luck, it was closed, then we began to explore the island in order to know and photograph how much Church cross the road. Without a doubt visit churches and the road to Detif is best of Isla Lemuy. The route to Detif impresses when it sees the ocean to both sides of the road.

  • No doubt a ride that should be. A ferry is taken from Chonchi. We did the trip looking for churches, but I think that the way to Detif is the best.

  • A very nice island with muuuuucha is vegetation, animals, and friendly people. In one day we toured the island to Detif, because the locals took us very kindly to visit places far removed but wonderful. The road to Detif is almost a roller coaster, but with landscapes that I never imagined. We were looking for heritage churches and there arrived. Locomotion is very low so I recommend making finger. Along the way you can appreciate the beauty of these places that all a fortune is to know for us who live in the city. It is recommended to visit the Park Yayanes, liiiiiiiiindisimo up to waterfall find
