A historic venue, Teatro Municipal de Iquique opened in 1890 and saw many celebrated actors--like Sarah Bernhardt--pass through its doors. Built almost entirely of Oregon pine sourced from the United States, the building attracts scores of visitors with its educational tours and appealing architecture.   • Pass to visit it and really is shows what was and you can imagine the last splendor. Thanks have opened doors for him, however evidence a deteriorating and bad smell inside. It is expected that funds be allocated for restoration since it is part of the heritage and important history of Iquique

  • This municipal theatre of iquique is times of the English of the nitrate than traian theatres and opera houses from Europe, especially England place, paris France and from Austrian Vienna, many orchestras the aworld symphonic came here to this great theatre and many shows in Europe were brought to round iquique.es, of three floors, with seats well preserved until today , de treciopelo, con uaa cupula en el medio artriba del teatro lampara de luces llamada tipo araña, igual a la que existe en el estro coon de buenos aires.se ve la mano de eyfell.

  • Know a theater which is preserved almost intact, surprise which is free, is beautiful and there are several pieces of the peak season. Although you lack a bit of maintenance, would be worth the penalty make a collection.
