  • Although it is forbidden to swim in this part of the coast, by the violence of the waves (also be ice water, so is not pleased to get wet nor although they permitted je) is an excellent ride for younger children, for example, than just playing with sand or wet feet are happy! With my kids, had a beautiful afternoon without crowding of Cavancha Beach and enjoying the Sun. We stayed right in front and it turned out excellent! Very well lit at night and with attractive free children's games to enjoy all the time.

  • We stayed at the Holiday Inn, which is just opposite Playa Brava. We did a couple of times the ride almost complete, both day and night and 100% recommend it. The beach lives up to its name and is not suitable for the bathroom, only to "soak the feet". If you like take Sun looking at the sea, is ideal. The walk that I mention is a triple path that goes virtually the entire beach. Attached to the Avenue is the ciclovía, in good condition. Then, a special trot (running) track; Special because it is an exclusive track on the one hand, and because it is sticker on the other, which makes the trot more "soft". Then there is pedestrian, wide and designed wax as costanera. Denuevo theme is that it is not finished and some works look abandoned, like for example the construction of public baths (with date of expiry in January). Mingle with old new spaces, which in itself has nothing wrong, but is that the former are the same as when they were. Look old and neglected. The finished photo loses shine just for it. For example, is home to a space dedicated to activities such as the entertaining dance, yoga, weights, etc., with a few incomplete playground and falling to pieces. There is a trail of wood which surrounds part of the beach, which is very nice to walk. In the middle there is a restaurant and a disco. The end which ends on what they call the "Peninsula", is totally abandoned, with broken sidewalks and to dangerous (there are a few collapsed meters that give a mini Cliff), poorly illuminated. If they follow the path they will give food and drink well hip. I gave this part of the walk with my son who felt fear that someone we raided. It is end of the promenade overlooking a giant housing buildings called by the locals "the twin towers" and another equal high pair, which I imagine is not unsafe, but PT not nobody removed it. It is a waste without a doubt, if you advance the sidewalks are still in bad condition and with bad lighting. It is a real shame. Night walk is even more enjoyable, there are people all the time, even to the peninsula saw families barbequing. It is a must despite the bad, I recommend day Monday to Sunday and Friday and Saturday night.

  • Brava beach is not suitable for bathing, but it is nice to walk and bike-ride your bike. Is quiet and safe.
