Spend an afternoon exploring an old-style Chilean walking street at Baquedano Street. Start from the center of town and walk to the other end so that your trip along the street brings you to a beach at the other end. Take time to experience the small shops, restaurants, and cafes you pass. Stop by the small kiosks of artisans and their goods for a handcrafted souvenir. Be aware that the restaurant prices are said to be high here, but some offer good happy hour deals. • Baquedano Street is undoubtedly the street more picturesque city, highlights its old mansions of wood, many restored, striking wooden sidewalks and the pools through the pedestrian Avenue, handicraft located in many of the galleries also is very cute, although very influenced by the Bolivian people (most of the artisans that I found were Bolivian and this is without effort to discriminate only that it expects more local work in this sense). But anyway it is a place that you should visit and use a couple of hours to cross it and admire its ancient buildings
