Baquedano Street, Iquique

(4.1/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Spend an afternoon exploring an old-style Chilean walking street at Baquedano Street. Start from the center of town and walk to the other end so that your trip along the street brings you to a beach at the other end. Take time to experience the small shops, restaurants, and cafes you pass. Stop by the small kiosks of artisans and their goods for a handcrafted souvenir. Be aware that the restaurant prices are said to be high here, but some offer good happy hour deals. • A tour what to do in Iquique, very picturesque with its wooden buildings, very nice, is worthwhile.

  • Very well maintain this beautiful Avenue. I recommend take it whole from the beach up to the clock. Walk calmly so as not lose details of houses of more than one century. I love the effect of the wooden paths resembling the nitrate and old lanterns. Between the free museums that exist in the Avenue. Apart from samples enjoy the beauty of the interior of the houses.

  • Good place to visit, not more than 1 hour since it is only a street with few shops and some pubs, recommended to go for a walk
