Baquedano Street, Iquique

(4.1/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Spend an afternoon exploring an old-style Chilean walking street at Baquedano Street. Start from the center of town and walk to the other end so that your trip along the street brings you to a beach at the other end. Take time to experience the small shops, restaurants, and cafes you pass. Stop by the small kiosks of artisans and their goods for a handcrafted souvenir. Be aware that the restaurant prices are said to be high here, but some offer good happy hour deals. • A nice walk for walking, both day and night. You may be walking from the beginning and you will find many Pubs and Resto Bar of good cards, long happy hours at night. For lovers of the old you'll find houses and houses of ancient styles and in excellent condition

  • Beautiful walk to make of day or of night. Well-preserved period architecture. There are numerous places to eat or take a drink, and even buy crafts.

  • Street in front of our hotel and adjoining Piazza Rlap. It did not have far to go! Of many craft shops, a streetcar on floor which is around the block, music groups, a few antique shops, bars/restaurants. Also an engraver on wood if you want to customize your purchases (we did engrave inscriptions for 4000 pesos on a Bolivian guitar bought on site) really well, very lively place. Underground car park on site if you are a car.
