Muelle Frutillar, Frutillar
(4.6/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
Take a stroll out onto Muelle Frutillar, a pier jutting out into the lake. A highlight of any area exploration, the pier offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and provides extensive views of the clear lake, volcanoes and hills, and the town itself. The pier's wooden form neatly complements the architecture of the rest of the town, with a Germanic, alpine simplicity and a rustic feel. The waterfront is wonderful... large... beside the Lake and with buses on hand if you're not in auto... Try a kuchen is necessary before leaving the Frutillar

  • During the summer, walk along the pier is mandatory if you are coming to Frutillar, from this place you can see the Lake, and has an excellent view to the volcanoes: Osorno, Puntiagudo and the Calbuco. He is best done at sunset colors are different, and there is a variety of these, both in heaven and in the water, and snow white Tome turns coppery, with the last rays of the Sun. Also, you can enjoy good music.

  • Every corner of Frutillar are beautiful, the German influence in the architecture is breathing in every corner. The view of the Lake is beautiful, is one of the cities most beautiful that I met in the South of Chile. Very well kept, clean and pleasant. It has the Grand Lake theater and they can be taken there with a few German psotres typical and delicious coffee. It is not expensive. In October I went, newly darkened at 7 pm which allows sweeping views of Lake Llanquihue. It is a beautiful place that recommended visit.
