  • This place has a historical burden that requires that it be exposed to tourists, there is much history that has and that is extremely important for the country and the region.

  • The ancient port of Copiapó was before Caldera, today people Ghost in winter and very popular in summer. Most of the houses are improvised, there is a fishing village and a couple of chopped style restaurants where I recommend... eat everything fresh. The preparations are basic that if. Different place and not visited on tours, there are no hotels, just a couple of stores. Recommended visit when you go to the unspoiled beach.

  • I play I know old port out of season, it is really a ghost town, there aren't people in the houses or in the streets and everything is closed except for a restaurant in its entry from the North (where there are good empanadas), is very picturesque because it is like a town abandoned in the middle of nowhere with a very good beach at the end of the village. If this traveling there, it's worth knowing it
