  • The must! From Puerto Montt, take the faster a bus or other to go on the Carretera Austral, and from there it went to adventure! So many beautiful things to see on the road, it is just unavoidable as "attraction" when you travel in Patagonia. In addition to linking many parks, there are also hidden jewels that are absolutely not parks, but it's great anyway! Arm yourself with patience because some traces are not very frequent, my Chileans are super nice and easily take you stop. Be sure just to have a tent, otherwise you will not enjoy it thoroughly. I'm not yet completely finished writing this review, but I'm really glad to be spent there!

  • I travelled between 17 and 24 Oct. 2016 with a friend. Although they met "almost" all offered, there were some bad things that should improve: Guide don Sebastian Hermosilla a 7. Very good guide. With respect to the Geotourism agency we never had direct contact with them. All is towards through the Guide. We arrived at two places which are owned by the same owner of the Agency, Hotel Jeinimemi in Chile Chico and Home Baker in Caleta Tortel. We arrived at night, tired, hungry and unfortunately, according to told us, are not allowed to serve customers, serve them anything that does not include the tour (only breakfast). If it wasn't because we organize ourselves and buy something to eat, and because persons who administer those places are very friendly, we hibieramos gone to bed without eating anything. We hired tour 8 days 7 nights Caleta Tortel - Chile chico. Unfortunately we realized that 8 days 2 days lost, whether by the afternoon that starts the tour (15 hrs) and because in our case, the last day took US to Chile chico, we arrived at 13 hrs and there left us, in a hotel, alone, without any picture, or anything to do. The next day they offered to take us to the airport, but our flight was leaving at 17:35 and pretended to leave at noon at the airport. Thing that we do not accept and we decided these hours pass the Coyhaique, buying some gift and lunch. While the landscapes are wonderful and the places where hosted us very good quality (except House Baker), the tour does not offer any activity. Our group (6 persons), we organize ourselves and made canopy, rafting, and horseback riding. The famous jars offered in the tour, are charged separately and are worth $40,000. We stayed at the lodge hostel Austral and Terra Luna, attention and good infrastructure in both places. Baker House (Caleta tortel), very disorganized everything. There was no room service (made me the bed at 19 hrs and because claim in this regard). Ms. Virginia, serving is very nice, very attentive, but should focus more on his work. In short, the experience was good. It was an unforgettable trip. But Geotourism should improve. There are things that can improve and provide better service.

  • Landscapes and travels are incredible, the fauna also, the only downside is the State of the road. To my it seems very dangerous to me the shuttle upon at all in such long distances (are made longer for that to go very slowly). We were 2 in a 4 x 4, which is ronceaba very often due to the low weight that we had in this, so I recommend to rent a jeep or a more stable vehicle to avoid all kinds of accidents.
