  • This year we traveled northward (port swans to Puerto Montt, entering Chile by Futaleufu) after having made the South the previous year. I know my country very well, and I think not mistaken if I say that what we have in the Carretera Austral is the most precious thing that you can imagine. Despite having played a very rainy days, the landscapes are breathtaking. There is equipment for food and accommodation, but you must improve to get to the height. And what is unintelligible is the bad condition of the roads: one thing is that not everything is paved, but the least that can be ordered is that the gravel roads are well maintained.
