Where to stay in Antofagasta

Though not yet seen as an international tourist destination, the northern city of Antofagasta has a welcome number of hotels and other accommodations. Head to the main coastal road to find some of the more popular high-rise hotels, offering rooms with sea views and onsite restaurants. The inland urban areas provide a good set of simple hotels, along with characterful boutiques and backpacker-friendly hostels. If planning on staying in the area for an extended period, consider renting an apartment in one of Antofagasta's main residential neighborhoods.

  • When we went it was closed, but esto allowed us to see the beautiful wood blinds which has each window. Really amazing and beautiful, I am very glad to keep them still, and thus to realize of the perfection of the old work.

  • Actually Antofagasta is a very "dirty", it doesn't rain, and have the desert behind. A lot of dust, many dogs. But who's there have to go visit!
