It is true that it has many curves and slopes, but it is not dangerous as we had been told. Also the route is well signposted. To the get to the village and to the entry suddenly is raises a view impressive of the Church large, huge with their high two towers and of beautiful colorful. We were really impressed and all we wanted was to reach it. It was Saturday and cost us much find a parking lot, because the streets are narrow and were full of vehicles. We got away a little to find a street where to Park, and then walked through the narrow and picturesque streets of the town. The temples are two, one is the large church and other church girl, which is older and is located diagonally on one side of the other. The girl Church was closed to the public for restoration, for as we headed to the large temple, a huge basilica built with adobe and oregon pine, and its outside coated with iron plates. The front has three spans of entrance with semi-circular arches. The interior of the Church is very large and impressive Corinthian columns that separate ships. The altar is beautiful and one side was the Virgin of Andacollo that repair of the small temple is kept for now in the large. I really enjoyed the visit to Andacollo and we think that it is a place for any tourist in Coquimbo.show original
