Cemetery Beach and Reef, Grand Cayman
(4.4/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Head off the beaten track and find relaxation and activity in equal measure at Cemetery Beach and Reef. The reef lies 27 m (89 ft) from shore and, because the beach hasn't been developed for tourism, it remains largely unspoiled. See schools of colorful tropical fish swimming around the interesting coral formations. Back on dry land, the beach has a good amount of shade from native plant life, meaning you'll be able to cool off after a long snorkeling trip. Bring your own food and drink, as you won't find any amenities onsite. For Cemetery Beach and Reef and beyond, use our Bodden Town trip generator to get the most from your Bodden Town vacation.

  • We traveled the island in search of shore accessible snorkeling. This spot was better than some but not the best, worth the stop, but limited coral heads. Peaceful on a calm day.
