  • Very crystalline and transparent waters, incomparable place, with a lot of beauty in nature and in the central village of this beautiful country.

  • This is the main port where come to stop all the cruises. It is famous for its duty-free shops. We take prices of jewels to make some purchases. More than clothing, the Fort of port are high jewelry stores selling all kinds of jewels and watches of high quality at greatly reduced rates.

  • Very nice town, with something for everyone. You find yourself in the Caribbean is, everything is slightly slower, but never mind. Yet a super place. Many nice shops, many European standards are quite expensive, but if you closely, you can find nice stuff for quite reasonable prices. Free things to do: hike up to 7 miles beach, a small walk through the town of george town.

  • George Town Cruise Port is easy to dock at and port authority representatives are very courteous and helpful. It can get very busy when cruise ships drop anchor and start their tender services. Very easy to walk into town or catch a taxi service to go further onto the island.
  • This may be a small port where the ships can't sick they have to anchor out a few hundred yards out and "tender" you to the port which means shuttle you by either several large pontoon boats or lower a couple of the life boats down and use them. I don't like that because it takes FOREVER due to the fact only a couple hundred ppl at a time can go and when you have several thousands of ppl trying to get there and get back, this time it took us 3 hours of standing in line to get back to the ship. With that said, it is worth the wait, George town and all of grand cayman island is AMAZING place, beautiful, lots of shops, nice ppl; I have been 5 or 6 times.
  • Not the most exciting of ports... Officer's directing traffic was the highlight...
  • This place is pretty well organized. There are a ton of things to do and within walking distance it is easy enough to find a cool excursion. Busy like crazy when a ship comes in obviously.
  • Nice, clean and very well organized place
