Cast your anchor at Porto di Georgetown (Port of George Town), a bustling hub of comings and goings, and the central shopping district for Grand Cayman. As a result of the cruise arrivals and departures, a thriving tourist industry has developed here. Hop onto a submarine tour of George Town Harbor, book yourself in for parasailing, charter boat and rum distillery tours or meander around the high end retail and art gallery stores-- the port is the starting point for your day's adventure. With everything within walking distance, once you've had your fill of retail therapy and sampling locally made rum cake, head up to the Seven Mile Beach for an array of watersports, restaurants and a chance to take a boat to Stingray City. With our world travel planner, George Town attractions like Porto di Georgetown (Port of George Town) can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • It almost seems to have been built specifically for a movie set: blue-roofed wooden houses, cobblestone streets, colorful stalls with tons of items and jewelry. The locals are kind and caring; local tours, professional and cheap.

  • Do know that Cayman is probably one of the safest ports to visit in the Caribbean. It's my favorite. Clean and safe. You must tender off the boat, the only set back.
  • Great location in the city centre one can easily reach the attractions 3 walk!! ️ Museum, the ruins of the Fort and the Church ️!!
