It is a simple route of 2 km we have seen people even walking with flip-flops to get to the waterfall there is a small stop with a bench to rest and take some pictures. We were going with a bit of a hurry and we have done it in 70 minutes

4.8km return, 220m elevation gain. This hike is beautiful, with a winding trail going through a lush forest(bring bug spray). Overall the hike is fairly easy, until you go past the falls viewpoint. A ...  more »

Do not follow google map, the location is wrong. You can use apple map which will direct you to the right location.

I have been camping at that rec site since 3 days and helped reorient 10+ tourists who couldnt find the trailhead...very confusing on google map. If you want to go to the falls do not use the beaverfoot trail, take the next right on the highway.

Nice hike and definitely worth your while!

A nice relatively short and level hike, until you get to the Falls, where you can walk down to the bottom and enjoy the view from below. Well worth the trip especially during times of high water.

Great view, great spray. Nice shorter hike.

Where to stay in Yoho National Park

Despite its isolated location, Yoho National Park offers a handful of luxury accommodations, most along Scenic Route 1. Some of the park's more remote lodges are accessible only by private transport. These isolated retreats--many of which deliberately avoid TV reception or Wi-Fi--typically cost a pretty penny. If you're looking for something a bit more affordable, consider staying in nearby Lake Louise or Banff and head to the park on a day trip.
