Spiral Tunnels, Yoho National Park
Categories: National Parks, Nature & Parks
Witness a historical example of engineering ingenuity firsthand at Spiral Tunnels. The tunnels make up two vast figure-eight tracks that run through the mountains; they mark the site where a train plummeted into the lake, killing three workers. You may just see a freight train pass through; if not, the picturesque mountain range makes the trip worthwhile. With our international travel planner, Yoho National Park attractions like Spiral Tunnels can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.
